gText news - September-October 2019
I am pleased to announce that the eLUNa suite of language tools and UNTERM are now hosted in Unite Conferences, the official gateway to all the online services, applications and tools offered by UN conference services. This migration brings our business practices further into line with OICT requirements and ensures continuity and stability for the tools we use in our everyday work.
We have also added new analysis functions to the eLUNa Translation interface with the goal of facilitating the distribution of assignments based on internal capacity and helping translators to monitor their progress while they work on a job.
These developments have been, as usual, a team effort, and I want to heartily thank staff for dedicating their time and expertise to refining and improving our systems and practices in the ongoing work of producing quality UN documents.

eLUNa and UNTERM in Unite Conferences
eLUNa, eLUNa Editorial, eLUNa Search, eLUNa VRS, the eLUNa Converter and UNTERM have been migrated to the Unite Conferences portal, where DGACM hosts its conferences services applications. You can access the applications with your usual user name and password at the new address: https://conferences.unite.un.org/uc.
New analysis and progress functions
The eLUNa Translation interface now displays a breakdown of exact and partial matches, repetitions found by the system in previously translated texts and new text, as well as a progress function showing the number and percentage of words translated in a given job. Consult the User Guide to learn more.
What's new section in the gText Help Page
The gText Help Page now includes a What's new section with the latest developments and system changes, to keep contractors and staff informed of all improvements. The What's new section is updated after each development sprint and is available on the home page.
